Map of the Dragon Lands

I know I haven't posted anything in a while, and really I'm just so tired. I think summer and heat does that to me...it doesn't suck my creative juices, but it does suck my energy -_- Anyway, I made this really quick and decided to upload it to show you guys the land and map I use for reference in my Spyro related comics. Some places we know, some we don't or haven't been mentioned or seen before. I plan to explore each of these places, some of which don't happen in ZR, but in other spin off comics. If you have a question about a place, ask me in the comments and I'll talk about it in the description. Hope you like it And who knows, maybe as time goes on, I'll add more places. Ya never know...

We know places like the Dragon city and Dragon Temple and the Warfang dam and the swamp, Dante's Freezer, Munitions Forge, Well of Souls, Concurrent Skies, Tall Plains, the Catacombs, Twilight Falls, Valley of Avalar, Burned Lands and the Volcano, Ancient Grove, Silver River, White Isle, the Pirate Apes ships, and the Shattered Vale was mentioned, but not seen. Then I've added a few places of my own that I have mentioned already in some characters bios. Then there are some places I haven't mentioned yet.

The Oceans
All the oceans have dragon names.

Mountain of Mystery
The Mountain of Mystery we actually HAVE been to. That was the place where Zirra found the soul killing gem and battled the Dragon Hunters back in chp 3 -seeraphine.deviantart.com/art/…
It was called the Mountain of Mystery because few dared venture there because of how many dead souls were seen roaming there, searching for the gem.

Skylands
And yes, I even added a Skylands. They don't play a very big role, but still mentionable.
Let it be noted that these are a different kind of Skylanders. Instead of the short cutesy little creatures, they're an organization of elite super soldiers hired for desperate situations and war. They consist of dragons, Cheetah, Wolf, and Faun clan, as well as every other creature that exists in this world. They are bigger and beefed up more than normal civilians, and wear silver and golden armor.

Island Hirakue
Island Hirakue is Zirra's and Frillisean's homeland island, until they grew up and left to the Main Lands. It was founded by a dragon named Hirakue. He chose to live isolation away from the other dragon lands. Eventually dragons started liking his idea and moved there as well. Hirakue allowed it as long as they followed his rules. Even after his death, dragons have lived there in isolated peace ever since.

Frozen Empire
As is well known among the dragons, the Ice dragons are the most prideful of the elements, and some even believe that they shouldn't associate with any other dragon besides another Ice. The Ice dragons chose to live together on an ice filled island and created an empire for themselves. Each Emperor and Empress is chosen by royal blood. The current Empress is one of distraught, as she fell in love with a Shadow dragon and had a child by him, which was then destroyed in the raid upon the temple, and the father, her love, killed by Malefor's forces when he went after them in a rage. Immediately afterward she was crowned Empress. The Empire currently does not run as powerfully as it once did.

Glade of Blood
The chosen homeland of the Dragon Hunters, the wolf clan. The wolves travel all over the lands hunting dragons, then bring their kill back to their forest and smear the blood and entrails and bones all over the trees and ground, a symbol of their obsession. Their clothing is of dragon hide and their weapons of dragon horns and bones. They even can live over 100 years because of the dragon meat they consume. Venturing into the depths of their stronghold is a dragons worst nightmare.

Ancient Grove
After Zirra created the element of Fear and fled from the island Hirakue, she flew to a peaceful forest that was known as one of the most peaceful spots in the dragon lands, until Zirra dive bombed into the ground, shaking and writhing, trying to take control of the fear element that was consuming her. She roared and lashed out, slicing down every tree, creature and object in her distance. Until finally, she unleashed a deadly wave of fear that completely mutilated the land. The forest turned purple, red, and dark. The river and waters turned to acid and an ominous mist filled the air, a mist that when breathed in too long would start sending flashes of your fears into your mind. The creatures were also affected, as they turned to sickly poisonous feral monsters. And the tree of which Zirra slept afterwards to regain her strength and learn to control the fear, became Arborick. The bringer of fear and monster of the forest.

Faun Village
The Faun population is a rare breed in this world. They are very magical creatures with special talents of communicating with the forest and creatures in it. Fauns posses great luck and any who are around them are blessed with luck as well. The Fauns chose their land in a peaceful spot by the shore. Regrettablly, they live right by the wolf clan, but the wolves have no interest in bothering them, and both tribes have a peace pact between them. The Fauns have their own ancient language that they prefer to speak in. Most Fauns have accents when speaking in english. It is the Fauns language that Zirra got her name from, for in the Faun language, "Zirra" means "Curious one."
